X-ray Technique Refresher

Dental Board of California Approved
A course for those who already know how to take radiographs but may be having difficulty with elongation, closed contacts, cone-cuts, endodontic exposures, or other problems. This is not a beginner's course. You may choose to bring a clinical patient for close observation. Clinical patient assignments at you're workplace are recommended. Although, this is not a requirement it will certainly improve you're x-ray techniques from what you have learned during laboratory demonstration on Dexter. No written exams. You will not receive an x-ray certificate in this course.

Proof of Basic life support (BLS/CPR): All participants involved in the direct provision of patient care must be certified in basic life support procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Re-certification intervals may not exceed two years. DA: Completion of an 8-hour infection control and 2 hours of Dental Practice Act. RDA: Completion of a 2-hour infection control and 2 hours of Dental Practice Act.
Students are required to provide they're safety glasses, all other course supplies are provided.

 24 hours of CE credit: DBC Category 1
